What are Soakless Pedicures?

Soakless pedicures are exactly what the name entails. They are pedicures that do not utilize the traditional soaking basins. But why? Traditional soaking basins can harbor bacteria and fungus if not properly disinfected, putting your health and safety at risk. Soakless pedis remove this risk factor from the equation by taking away the shared bacteria harboring basin altogether and opting for a more sanitary approach.

What are the benefits?

Soakless pedicures allow for more detailed and careful callus reduction and cuticle work. The lack of moisture allows for longer lasting polish and results. In my services I also provide package options that target certain benefits such as callus reduction and skin hydration. These packages include the use of e-file callus reduction, steam, hot towels, oils, aloe lotion, paraffin wax, hydrating masks, and more.

Who should get a soakless pedi?

Soakless pedicures are meant for everyone, however, they can be especially beneficial to those with chronic health conditions, at-risk clients, people with lowered immune systems, elderly clients, and those who have faced adverse results from traditional soaking pedicures or have a fear of getting a traditional pedicure.

Important details to note:

If you are dealing with chronic health conditions, foot health concerns, or are taking certain medications it is important that you consult with your health care provider and/or podiatrist before booking your soakless pedicure to get written clearance to receive the service. The soakless pedicure service is not a medical service and you will NOT receive any diagnosis during the service, however, if anything about your health is observed to be “abnormal” you will be referred to a physician and may not be able to continue the service until you have written consent from the physician to do so.
